Ian Rochead's Gardening Services was set up by award winning Garden Designer Ian Rochead in March 2007 and is well established in the Woking & Guildford District.

Ian prides himself by providing a highly professional, high quality gardening service. Whether it's from looking after and tending to a few decorative plant pots or maintaining acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, you'll find that each project is treated individually.

Ian also believes that looking after the clients own needs and wishes are just as important as the needs of every plant or lawn, if not more after all it is your garden. So if you wouldn't like the use of herbicides or weed killers in your garden then that's no problem, we'll find an alternative to suit you.

about Ian Rochead
Ian Rochead, believed to be the youngest self funded garden designer at the RHS Chelsea Flower show, studied for three years at Merrist Wood Campus of Guildford College, graduating with a National Certificate in Landscape Construction and then followed that on by studying for a further year to graduate with a National Diploma in Landscape Construction. Ian then stayed on for a third year to participate in a garden design course to understand the basic's of garden design finally leaving the college in 2004.

Once leaving the college Ian, being only 18 at the time wanted to further his knowledge in the Landscape construction industry and spent three further years putting his knowledge about landscaping and gardening learnt at the College to good use whilst also adding to it by working with various landscaping companies based in the Surrey area. This included both commercial and domestic, hard and soft landscaping and garden maintenance.
In May 2006 Ian Rochead was given the opportunity to fulfil his life long dream, when his garden 'The City Workers Retreat garden' was successfully selected to be exhibited at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show where his garden was awarded a RHS Silver Medal and the status of being the youngest independent design ever at the RHS Chelsea Flowers. See RHS Chelsea Flower Show For more Information.

In July 2009 Ian was awarded a silver-gilt medal for his second show garden entitled 'Urbanise' Supported by Guildford High School For Girls at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show. The garden was designed for a young couple who had moved from a rural surround into the more urban environment and wanted to blend the two environments together. See RHS Hampton Court Flower Show For more Information.
